In an effort to keep these events a blessing to everyone involved we have volunteer requirements:
everyone attending MUST help with one or more of volunteer spots listed below.

Wednesday, September 25

5-6:00pm

Please be on time and ready to setup tables, signs, and your own stuff if you are able to bring it at that time. (Note, the location is the GYM this year.)

This usually takes 1-1.5 hours.

THURSDAY, September 25

9-4:00pm

Drop off your stuff early.
Call or text us for a Key Code to the Church Gym please! (208) 546-9419

This is for LEAVING donations NOT taking things home.

Thank you for helping this event be a joy for all involved.

FRIDAY, September 27

  • 5:00pm SHARP - Last chance to bring items for the swap.

  • 6:00pm - Last minute announcements in Gym, Swap Begins

FRIDAY, September 27

7:30-8:00pm

Cleanup happens right after we’re done Swapping.  The more people the faster this step will go.

The Cleanup Crew is responsible for staying until:
    * the last table is taken down and put away
    * the last corner is swept
    * the last leftover is bagged/boxed
    * the last bag/box is carried to the vehicles

With enough help this takes 30-60 minutes.

FRIDAY 9/27 - SATURDAY 9/28

Friday, 7:30-8:00pm  -  CLEAN UP & LOAD trailers

  • We need a couple trailers for transporting leftovers to a thrift store.

  • Due to lack of trailers in the past, we’d greatly appreciate it if EVERYONE would take a bag or three of clothing to a donation center at your convenience, while the trailers will be used for fragile, large, and or heavy items.

Saturday, 10am  -  DROP OFF at Thrift Store

  • Goodwill Thrift Store in Post Falls, 4040 E 16th Ave

  • Union Gospel Mission in Hayden, 7761 N Gov’t Way, CDA

Do you have a family business!?

Feel free to bring gift baskets, coupons, flyers, business cards, and or other forms of advertisement. We’ll have a free drawing for gift baskets during the swap.

PRE-SORT YOUR DONATIONS

Pre-sort the items you are bringing beforehand as best you can because there are so many "treasures"!  Please take this into consideration when you are packing up your contributions throughout the season!

Leave stained or damaged items home please… Let’s be kind to each other and the thrift stores and not make them sort through mountains of leftover non-saleable items.

INVITE A FRIEND

Due to size constraints, please limit your invites to 2 guests (only people you personally know, because this is a private event) who would be NEW participants to our swap. (All previous participants are welcome).

Email the Swap Coordinators with your friend’s email address. We will email your friends.
